Steven K. Bolland, President and Registered Representative, has a distinguished career of over 25 years in the reinsurance business, including substantial expertise in traditional and non-tradition reinsurance, financial and finite reinsurance, and mergers and acquisitions. Apart from his day-to-day managerial activities as President of Gill and Roeser, Steve plays a significant role as reinsurance intermediary placing and maintaining traditional and non-traditional reinsurance treaties for a number of clients in the U.S. and the Caribbean. A recognized expert on reinsurance, Steve is frequently quoted in the U.S. and international trade press. He also acts as a financial advisor to clients of all sizes on merger and acquisition transactions and was responsible for the formation of a panel of unaffiliated investors that provided capital to the insurance business. Prior to joining Gill and Roeser in 1989, Steve held various senior management positions in domestic and international treaty production for a major U.S. intermediary. He began his career in the U.K. insurance broker and company market and is an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute in England.
