Andrew P. Burger, CPCU, Vice President, is predominantly involved in the specialty program business marketplace,
focusing on the production, management and administration of specialty programs. Andrew works with MGAs (managing general agents)
on strategic planning and implementation of new program business opportunities and is knowledgeable about this niche market on both
the national and regional levels. He also works on tailoring specific reinsurance programs to support these specialty
insurance programs. Prior to joining Gill and Roeser in 1998, Andrew concentrated on the production of traditional and non-traditional
reinsurance programs and alternative risk transfer business at two major U.S. reinsurance intermediaries. Andrew earned his Bachelor of
Science Degree in Business Administration at the State University of New York at Oswego and earned his CPCU designation at
The College of Insurance, now St. John's University School of Risk Management, in Manhattan.
